Community

Imogen is a professional Western Australian mural artist and has experience working with communities and local governments.

Artist led projects engage the community through workshops and the creation of a mural in a paint by numbers style. This style invites all ages and skill levels to join, and can be divided into different session to accomodate. The paint by numbers style, involves numbers matched to colours in small paint pots. These types of interactions offer opportunity to have a fun community day celebrating local artists, musicians and food. Please contact for further details and pricing.

“My aim through these types of projects is to maximise a sense of place by integrating relevant images and themes to the community, individual or to the surrounding areas.
Through my workshops we talk about how to use shape and colour to assist in the flow of the story and create a design based on community interaction.
As someone who enjoys listening as part of my practice, I believe this approach produces artwork that not only is vibrant and eye-catching but one that speaks directly to the public. My practice promotes a thriving, buzzing and connected community.”-Imogen Palmer 2022
